Deepika to obey orders by Rajini

Bollywood is buzzing with rumours about superstar Rajinikanth delaying the commencement of his forthcoming movie Rana by a week because he wants his heroine, Deepika Padukone, to look more glamourous and beautiful on-screen.

The movie is directed by K.S. Ravikumar. The first schedule of this movie was set to begin at the same venue and a huge set was specially created for the same. Recently, the leggy actor flew to Chennai for a photoshoot of the movie featuring the lead pair at AVM Studios.

From the last one Surya is been busy shooting for his most prestigious film 7am Arivu which is directed by A.R Murugadoss. Latest we get to know is the actor has wrapped up the shoot of the film and will be moving to his next project Maatran directed by K.V Anand The film is all set to take off with the shoot during the first week of June.

Here comes the million dollar question “On who will be the lucky girl to share the screen opposite Suriya?”

Director K.V Anand after completing his film KO has taken an immediate plunge into this project and has started the hunt for the heroines. We have heard that Taapsee, Kajal Agarwal and Samantha are in the preliminary list. Latest heroine who joined the bandwagon is Bollywood long leg beauty Deepika Padukone. Inside source reveal that, Deepika has asked for a high remuneration and negotiations are going on.

Kajal Aggarwal has bright chances of getting selected as the beauty has she emerged as a front runner. She even makes a good pair with Suriya but the only factor that is pulling the filmmakers back is that the actress is not having hit film in Kollywood.

Zeenat Aman praises Deepika Padukone

Though she still doesn’t like the way the item song 'Dum Maro Dum', has been picturised, actress Zeenat Aman is now making it a point to point out that she doesn’t have personal grouse with actor Deepika Padukone, who has performed to the song.

According to Aman, she still maintains that she is disappointed with the song but she wants to make it clear that this does not imply that she does not like Padukone.

However, it could not be ascertained whether Padukone herself called Aman or if a staff member communicated to Aman about how upset she was to learn that Aman , the original heroine on which the song has been filmed, doesn’t approve of the new version.

“I have not seen 'Dum Maaro Dum', so I cannot comment on (Padukone’s) performance,” Aman told DNA.

Aman is quick to add that that even though she has not seen her performance yet, she is sure that Padukone must have done a good job because she is a great performer.

“...But Deepika is gorgeous and I am sure (that) she has done a great job. I was personally disappointed with lyrics, but maybe they work in context of the film..,” adds Aman.

Saif Ali khan came to deepika padukone rescue

Actor Deepika Padukone was embarrassed when she couldn’t make a roti for a cooking scene in upcoming film, Aarakshan, while her co-star Saif Ali Khan was amused and said it reminded him of a scene in Kaalia where Amitabh Bachchan helped Parveen Babi make an egg.

one of the most difficult scenes with Big B in Aarakshan, Deepika froze when she had to make perfectly rounded rotis. Apparently she asked director Prakash Jha to change the menu, but he was adamant. “I was so embarrassed, I can totally cook, but roti is a challenge. As with life, the most simplest of things some times get to be a hardest to master,” said Deepika. A source says,
“Deepika just stood there helplessly looking at camera, at her director and her co-star Saif Ali khan who grinned beside her.”
Deepika’s attempts at making rotis came out in abstract shapes, sizes and maps of unknown countries. Seeing her comical trials, Saif came to her rescue with no success.

Finally, Jha had to personally show Deepika how to make perfectly-rounded rotis. Saif said, “It was interestingly funny, reminded me of the scene in Kaalia where Amitji helps Parveen Babiji to make an egg. Thank god, it wasn’t an egg for Deepika.”

Rajni want Deepika Padukone to look more gorgeous for Rana

Despite B-town going gaga over Deepika Padukone’s gorgeous looks, south demi God Rajnikanth is not pleased by her look in his forthcoming film “Rana”.

He wants Deepika to look even more beautiful. He stated that he will proceed with the shooting of the film once her look has been finalized.

Rajni has told the director of his film K S Ravikumar that Deepika’s look in the film should be simple but at the same time traditionally beautiful.

That look is yet to come. Pleasing Rajni Sir is a tough job. Ravikumar will have to assure Rajni that the actress will look the way as he wants to.

In the film Rajni plays a triple role and Deepika is paired opposite the young Rajni. Rajni has told the make-up artists of the film to give Deepika a proper makeover.

The film will be made in three languages—Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. The film will be co-produced by Ocher Studios (run by Rajni’s daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth) and Eros International.

The music of the film is composed by Oscar winner, music maestro A R Rahman. As per the latest news the commencement of the shooting of “Rana” will begin from coming Monday.
