Deepika Padukone Is Set To Explore Exotic Vacations

Deepika Padukone, who is making her comeback with her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, is reportedly set for a 25 day exotic tour, but not with Ranbir! The buzz in the tinsel town is that the Bollywood star has planned to spend annual vacation with none other than airline and liquor magnate Sidhartha Mallya.

It is reported that Deepika Padukone has already booked tickets for her holiday tour with steady date Sidhartha Mallya. Dips-Sid's 25-day vacation starts from December 11, 2011 and the duo is said to be visiting Saint Tropez and a few other exotic locations till January 2, 2012.

However, Deepika Padukone has recently signed a dotted line to star opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Sources claim that she will do a look test for Karan Johar's next movie on December 10. “The next day, Dips and Sid will fly off for their annual getaway to Saint Tropez and a few other exotic locations around the world,” the Times of India quotes a source as saying.

When Deepika Padukone walked the ramp for designer Wendell Rodricks during the recently concluded edition of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW), the designer was all praises for the actress.

And why not? Wendell was the one to spot her years ago, and he told this to DT, adding that because of that introduction, he feels like a protective figure for her. He told us, " I'd seen a star quality in her and I knew she could me a model. More importantly, I have great respect for her parents. They are good friends of mine. I remember the first Delhi Fashion Week, she didn't make it to the list and she called me saying she didn't get a show. So I called a few people and maneuvered things around for her. So, I have always been a protective figure when it comes to her and I'm very proud of where she has reached. I'm very happy to see Deepika here again. I'd first seen Deepika in a mall and I'd told her that she should be a model. And her mom had said, 'don't give her these ideas'.but I'm so proud of her."

John Abraham Wooing Deepika Padukone !!!

"Deepika Padukone is hot! She's simple and unassuming — a combination that I find very appealing." This is what John Abraham said recently when asked about who in Bollywood he'd like to date.

Close friends of John say he is completely smitten by her. The two hotties got to know each other during the London shooting of a song for Rohit Dhawan's Desi Boyz. A unit member said John was blown away by Deepika in that scene. "John loved being in such close proximity to her. Apart from her looks and intelligence, she also appealed to another side of his personality because of her love for sports, fitness and motor bikes," said a source,

Even when John wasn't shooting, he'd visit the sets when Deepika was shooting. They ate together every day and were constantly seen chatting away during breaks. He took her for rides on his bikes through the streets of London too! When they were in public, Deepika was kept giggling at his jokes.

"It's obvious what's going on here. John's definitely trying everything in the book to woo her. And he is extremely good-looking with a fantastic body. What woman wouldn't fall for that?" a friend of John says.

"Even though she is dating Sid [Siddhartha Mallya], he denies her in public, which is very insulting. So I wouldn't be surprised if she falls for John. He is so different from Sid. Much more mature, more sensitive to what a woman wants and just as good-looking as Sid if not better. Sure he doesn't have the boats and the planes, but his other attributes more than make up for it. She could easily shift loyalties if Sid doesn't make some changes in his attitude and lifestyle!" says a close friend of Deepika.

Who Was The Man With Deepika Padukone On The Night Visit To The Taj?

Deepika Padukone's love for the Taj Mahal is known and the actress visited the monument on a full moon again.

The actress of 25 years, visited the Taj bathed in the light of the harvest moon last night. She was accompanied by his security men and a male companion, whose identity could not be known.

Deepika was in a group of fifty Shilpagram taken, one kilometer from the eastern gate of Taj, for 30 minutes to see the marble monument of the central tank, half way to the mausoleum of the main entrance.

Dressed in black and white Salwar Kurta with a red chunni, Deepika was seen absorbed in admiring the beauty of the Taj with the moonbeams playing in the dome, lit, semi-precious stones.

Deepika Padukone to lose' Race 2' to Priyanka Chopra

There is a strong rumour doing the rounds that Priyanka Chopra is all set to replace Deepika Padukone in Race 2.

Deepika's schedule is too tight for the next few months, especially after she signed Ayan Mukherjee's Yeh Jawani Hain Diwani, and so, it's impossible for her to be part of Race 2. Producer Ramesh Taurani of Tips recently posted on Twitter that the film was ready to roll.

Since Deepika couldn't work out the dates she will have to opt out and if sources are to be believed, the makers are planning to cast Priyanka instead. Piggy Chops too has shown interest in doing the film.
