"Deepika Padukone is hot! She's simple and unassuming — a combination that I find very appealing." This is what John Abraham said recently when asked about who in Bollywood he'd like to date.
Close friends of John say he is completely smitten by her. The two hotties got to know each other during the London shooting of a song for Rohit Dhawan's Desi Boyz. A unit member said John was blown away by Deepika in that scene. "John loved being in such close proximity to her. Apart from her looks and intelligence, she also appealed to another side of his personality because of her love for sports, fitness and motor bikes," said a source,
Even when John wasn't shooting, he'd visit the sets when Deepika was shooting. They ate together every day and were constantly seen chatting away during breaks. He took her for rides on his bikes through the streets of London too! When they were in public, Deepika was kept giggling at his jokes.
"It's obvious what's going on here. John's definitely trying everything in the book to woo her. And he is extremely good-looking with a fantastic body. What woman wouldn't fall for that?" a friend of John says.
"Even though she is dating Sid [Siddhartha Mallya], he denies her in public, which is very insulting. So I wouldn't be surprised if she falls for John. He is so different from Sid. Much more mature, more sensitive to what a woman wants and just as good-looking as Sid if not better. Sure he doesn't have the boats and the planes, but his other attributes more than make up for it. She could easily shift loyalties if Sid doesn't make some changes in his attitude and lifestyle!" says a close friend of Deepika.
