Deepika Padukone-Ranbir Kapoor to act as love bird on screen again in Ayan Mukherjee's "Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani".Ex-lovers Deepika and Ranbir will be romancing in the sand-dunes of Rajasthan.

The cast will be staying at Udaivilas Palace in Udaipur and will also be shooting in the hotel. Besides the hotel, the actors will also be shooting a song sequence near the lake and sand-dunes.

 This is the first time that Kapoor and Padukone are working together after their much publicised break-up.

Deepika Padukone See "Rockstar"?

Imtiaz Ali film Rockstar may have drawn mixed reactions from critics, but almost everyone agrees that Ranbir Kapoor has delivered a fantastic performance in the film.

What more proof do we need to act Ranbir is someone powerful was moved to tears. Well, this seems to be the case with Deepika Padukone.

Buzz is that Deepika Padukone, Ranbir's ex-girlfriend, as if the world already knows, was in tears while watching Rock Star is a special screening hosted by Ranbir Yashraj same weekend.

Ranbir really value the opinions of their peers in the industry, so he organized a special screening of the film to which were invited the likes of Deepika, Anushka Sharma Katrina Kaif and even.

Viewers say that Deepika was so involved in the film, at one point his eyes welled and wept.

We do not know about Ranbir Deepika knows the extreme reaction, but if he thinks he should realize that there is no greater compliment than that.

Former flames Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor are quite comfortable with each other even post break up. The duo will be working together in Ayan Mukherjee’s film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The most amazing part is that RK is not reluctant about romancing DP on big screen.

Talking to a daily, Ranbir Kapoor reveals about his relationship with Deepika, before and after their breakup.

Ranbir puts it in this way: “Never harbour negativity.” Ranbir still cares for his ex . “I’ve grown up as a person with her, which is why I never share intimate details of our relationship with anyone. I have to ensure her future doesn’t get into trouble because of our past. I’d be really happy to see her settled some day.”

Ayan Mukherjee’s movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is about age romance. It’s about how urban youngsters treat love nowadays, the crazy things they do when they fall for each other, etc, etc. Katrina Kaif was Ayan’s first choice. However now, Deepika is confirmed to be playing the leading lady in the film.

Deepika to get Confronted by ranbir

The past few weeks has seen Ranbir Kapoor at the receiving end of venomous barbs.

Ranbir, apparently, is very upset with such rumors being fed to the media and wants to trace the source. According to him, the fountainhead of all these ugly rumours are sources close to Deepika. The worst part is that calls and even SMSes sent to DP are leaked to the press, making it seem as if he is chasing her all over again.

Ranbir wants to confront Deepika and reportedly, a meeting between the two ex lovers is on the cards.
Says a source, “Ranbir wants to nail the leak”. Someone’s definitely planting stories against him and he is very angry. But he would like to give Deepika the benefit of doubt.”

Ranbir and Deepika have been in touch ever since their break up. The two even gave each other a warm hug in the studio corridor of Koffee With Karan. Though DP and RK are making enough efforts to appear cordial with each other, constant media mud-slinging is taken a toll on their friendship.

Deepika Ranbir on sets of 'Koffee with karan'

Mumbai: Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor had a face-off with his ex-lady love Deepika Padukone on the sets of filmmaker Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’. Apparently, their rendezvous was one of those, which clearly exhibited signs of discomfort between the two, who were once an inseparable and most ‘talked-about’ couple of the Tinsel Town.

The duo accidentally bumped into each other when the dimpled beauty was making her way to the sets of ‘Koffee with Karan’, while the Kapoor lad was making an exit after an interview.

Explaining the unexpected yet hasty meeting between Ranbir and Deepika, an insider revealed while talking to a news daily, “We had no instructions to ensure they didn’t bump into each other. The entire unit was stunned when they came face to face. They smiled, shook hands and had a brief talk, but were formal with each other.”

Looking at the picture of the duo stuck on the sets, psychiatrists are of the opinion that Ranbir-Deepika share great amount of animosity between them.

While talking to the daily, describing Ranbir-Deepika’s present equation which they share with each other, psychiatrist Deepak Raheja said, “Deepika seems anxious. There is evidence of some pain, which may come from unaddressed issues. Eye contact is being purposely avoided, Ranbir looks more comfortable than her.”

This face-off is a classic example of the broken hearts fuming from within. But the ex-lovers tried hard to handle it maturely.

“Their body language is awkward. Their confused state of mind is evident in the way their hands and eyes are going in different directions,” the news daily quoted psychiatrist Sanjeev Kalra as saying.

Now, it seems quite obvious that the Kapoor-Padukone face-off wasn’t just by chance. Filmmaker and host Karan Johar might have been the mastermind behind the rendezvous. All we can now do is to sit and ponder over. Isn’t it?
